406.22.1 No flight training unit shall appoint a person as an assistant chief flight instructor and no person shall act as an assistant chief flight instructor unless the person (a) has the qualifications required for the position, as set out in the personnel licensing standards; and (b) acknowledges in writing that the person knows, accepts and will carry out the responsibilities of the position, as assigned in writing by the chief flight instructor.
