201.09 (1) The manufacturer of a component for which a life limitation has been established by type design shall place thereon, in accordance with subsection 201.05(2), the identification information referred to in subsection (2). (2) The identification information that shall be placed on a component is (a) the part number of the component or an equivalent series of identifying characters; and (b) the serial number of the component or an equivalent series of identifying characters.
